I just had to share this with you when i read it.

Dr Suzanne Koven who works at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston wrote an eye-opening article on the effects of job dissatisfaction and mental health.

“People who don’t enjoy or feel fulfilled by their work are more likely to be anxious and depressed and, to a lesser degree, more likely to have physical symptoms”.

Dr Koven goes on to say that she has seen “patients with headaches, nausea, dizziness, tremors, and back pain which disappear on the weekend (unless they happen to work on the weekend). In one dramatic case, a patient who hated her job began vomiting every Sunday night and threw up repeatedly until Friday”.

SO you see my friends, enjoying your work and gaining real fulfilment  (the type that resonates with your spirit and soul) is not ‘a nice to have’ it’s a ‘MUST have’ for optimum mental health.

Ask yourself:

Are you living the highest vision for yourself?

Do you feel like you’re contributing with your work?

Are you mentally, emotionally and spiritually stimulated by the work you do?

Are you making a difference with your work or just tryin to get by, week- in, week- out?

Just like your body needs to be stimulated by exercise and nutrition for optimum physical health, the same is true for your mental health. You need stimulation from work that YOU derive meaning from. Remember, this is not a ‘nice to have’, it’s a ‘MUST have’.

Fortunately we have a way to address this so that your current job doesn’t become a mental health problem for you. We have an upcoming Training that will be addressing exactly what Dr Koven is referring to: How to Get Meaning / Satisfaction From Our Work.

The training is free and it is coming your way very soon.

If you’d like to read the rest of Dr Koven’s article, here’s the link:

Is your job making you sick?

By the way: The training is a couple of weeks away, for the exact date and how to register, keep your eyes peeled to your inbox.

In the last free online training that we held, not everyone was able to get access, because this is a hot topic that runs deep with 87% of the population (dissatisfied with their job) when we release the date you’ll want to secure your seat fast, so you don’t miss out.

To make sure you get access to the free online training, introduce yourself by adding your name and email in one of the boxes, that way you’ll definitely be updated.
